The Commission for Social Communication
Welcome to the official website of the Commission for Social Communication in the Diocese of Mangalore. It is one of the 21 pastoral commissions in the diocese of Mangalore. We are dedicated to spreading the message of faith, hope, and love through various means of communication, serving the Church and its communities in the digital age. We aim to build a digitally informed and educated community by organising media awareness programmes, training sessions and media workshops.
Our Mission
The Commission for Social Communication, under the guidance of the Diocese of Mangalore, is committed to harnessing the power of media and communication to fulfill the mission of the Church. Our primary objectives include:
Promoting Faith: We strive to promote and deepen faith among the faithful by sharing religious knowledge, spiritual reflections, and stories of hope.
Engaging the Community: We aim to foster a sense of community and unity within the Diocese, connecting people and encouraging collaboration for the greater good.
